AddonAudit audits MCP servers and other AI coding add-ons from the official registry. Popular listings are sandboxed and scored. The directory also keeps license, repository activity, install command, and inferred client fit when those facts are public.

It is not affiliated with the Model Context Protocol registry, Cursor, Claude, Codex, npm, or GitHub. Names of those products appear only to say which public records were read and which clients can launch a given transport.

The site does not host add-on source code. Each listing links out. Scores are explained on the methodology page. Payment never changes a score.
